BlackBerry Bold Vs BlackBerry Curve - 9000 and 8900 Email Phones

Whether you have a preference of the BlackBerry Bold or the BlackBerry Curve, there is ideally a reason to why you may choose to like either of the two phones. The Bold and the Curve are a line of smartphones both from Research In Motion Inc. The BlackBerry Bold 9000 and the BlackBerry Curve 8900 have similarities that qualify these phones to have the viability of being called Email phones. The WiFi support in these two phones is a factor that needs to be looked at since it is a supporting feature that enables them to be termed as email phones.

The WiFi connections work not only for UMA, but also during surfing on the web and the importance towards this is the fact that web pages load faster and thus the satisfaction of speed that follows fulfilling everyone’s dream. These two phones come with three browser configurations where each can highly be customized according to the desires of an individual. T-Mobile (WAP and mobile browser emulation), Internet Browser (in default form emulates Internet Explorer) and Hotspot Browser (this can only be used when WiFi is connected).

With the BlackBerry data plans which can be applied in either of the two phones, the use of the BlackBerry email services becomes easier. Although it appears to be a horse race between the BlackBerry Bold and the BlackBerry Curve, the Bold has an advantage of the 3G internet which improves the browsing capability and speed as well. This is not a great challenge to the Curve because if few applications run at a go, it appears as if the speeds aren’t that badly off. If we look and analyze carefully other previous BlackBerry smartphones, we can find that Javascript slows down the time loading of pages are initiated and hence this is the reason why the Curve 8900 comes with an option that enables the user to turn it off.

The advantage with the Bold on the other hand is because it runs the OS 6 and this makes it render the said web pages faster allowing the loading time to be quickened. Despite the choices BlackBerry lovers may make, Research In Motion Inc has assured that no matter what brand or model one may decide to choose, he or she would get to enjoy the full power of the phone without having to base consideration on another.
