Can HTC Chacha Match Up Against the Bold Touch 9900
HTC and BlackBerry are arguably some of the most popular phones in the global economy. Legions of individuals are sold on either one of these phone brands, making purchases like the BlackBerry 9900 and the BlackBerry 9860 just from hearing about them. The HTC brand is more popular amongst the youthful generation due to its strong focus on apps that maintain a wide smile on their customers.
The operating system: The HTC Chacha runs on the all popular Android v2.3(gingerbread) while the 9900 runs on the BlackBerry OS 7 platform. So how does that compare? Well, it is irrefutable that both operating systems are very powerful, but Android has long since stolen the hearts of many phone lovers. It also supports apps of higher quality than OS 7, making the HTC Chacha a more popular choice when apps are put into consideration.
Many may not really vouch for storage capacity being used as a yardstick when choosing the right kind of smartphone to purchase, but it is definitely worth your investment to go for a phone with generous storage capacity. The Bold Touch 9900 would be the best pick in this respect. It comes with 8GB of internal memory, and as if this is not enough, RIM went ahead to make it expandable up to 40GB. A 768GB RAM fitted into the phone makes it perfectly responsive to any operations the user needs to handle. The HTC Chacha takes a beating in this respect, owning only 512MB of RAM and 2GB internal memory that is expandable up to 32 GB.
When buying a phone, one will want a camera that doesn’t take pictures of people only to show everyone looking alike. The Bold Touch 9900 makes sure that it doesn’t happen, given its 5MP camera with LED flash. The HTC Hitachi also boasts the same camera features, but with added autofocus. The Chacha owns the bragging rights in this category.
The performance of a phone is definitely a feature to consider when going for a particular phone. The BlackBerry Bold 9900 is equipped with a very strong 1.2GHz QC 8655 processor, which keeps the phone at top-notch speed. The Chacha will have to take a bow in this respect, given that it only comes powered by an 800 MHz processor, which in itself is actually not inferior, but that the 9900 is better equipped.
